The push- up is a great exercise to tone the arms, flatten the stomach and strengthen the core. All that is needed is an adjustment in where the elbows move to and where the hands are positioned. When done correctly, the whole body is still except for the elbows, they are the “prime movers”. The body does move (as a whole), however this is due to it following the angle of the elbows.
